I'm thinking of doing a Christmas giveaway for my 100th post. I really want to say a big "Thank You" to my readers...even if there are only a few of you ;) I want to do an AWESOME one! Please leave comments telling me what you would like to see on my giveaway! Price around $150 [you can go higher...you just might not get it :P]. Please give me ideas or you might get $150 worth of ping pong balls!

Can I have Holden (in the giveaway)? Except when he poots everywhere. (That's farting and pooping at the same time.)
ReplyDeleteAnd really...he is going to love reading this blog when he is older. haha.
Still thinking of good giveaways...
Robert said he'll take the $150 cash. ;) I'd love to see an Etsy giveaway. Something unique. I'll have to do a little more research.
ReplyDeletePS A Kitchen Aid standing mixer might be in the mix. Just sayin'.
ReplyDeleteNot gonna lie, you got me highly interested in that special lunch box (forget what it's called) though I don't think I'll ever get around to purchasing one myself. Though, I'm not sure how many other people would find that as an awesome prize. I like the Kitchen Aid standard mixer too :-)
ReplyDeleteWow! I am usually just a phantom reader (you do have a fun blog), but I'd really like a cool piece of art (especially one from the LDS bookstore) to put up in my home. Or maybe a photography session. My little girl is gonna need some pictures, and I just love the ones you have of Holden! Of course he was the perfect model.
ReplyDelete-- This is really Aly, just didn't have one of the required accounts
My suggestion would be several amounts ($25 and/or$50) in online certificates. When people win they can choose either an Amazon Certificate or a Paypal Certificate. This way people can buy what they actually need.
ReplyDeleteAnother option would be a Photoshop Elements 9 (retails about $100) and a Flip Mino (about $100). Both giveaways would be about $200 and they can be used by bloggers :)
A third option could be also a Photo-Session with us :)
ReplyDeleteI hardly ever comment anywhere, but I just have to say I love your blog. You inspire me to write more often. :)
ReplyDeleteI think anything crafty is always a good give away. I agree with Aly that artwork is always cool.
For the record, I read your blog. I told you that. I'm not so good about commenting on blogs, but I read yours and Sallie's pretty frequently.
ReplyDeleteI think you should go for a nice or fun dinner! Or a hotel gift certificate, so if we win we can use it.
The ping pong balls WOULD be pretty cool though...
$150 worth of ping pong balls would be something that would send my mom into a paralytic coma... although before she collapsed, the look of sheer panic may be amusing in a truly awful way.
ReplyDeleteUmm... I thought that you wanted ideas of things to make... guess I have crafting on the brain. But in case that truly was the case, one project that I plan on doing that I don't mind sharing because of its truly awesomeness is a terrarium in a light bulb.
Another idea is to grab some fabric crayons from your nearest joanns and begin having fun. I am currently working on a design for my crayons. I just want it as perfect as I can... so I am basically down to the sketching now. (I would suggest joining the email list, so you can get the 40% off coupons that they oft times send).
I love the photo session idea...or the picture of christ. Or Garrett's comment. minus the ping pong balls...actually, now that I think about it, that might be fun for a while.
ReplyDeleteI'm also throwing in a vote for the kitchenaid stand mixer :)
JEN! Anything would be great! Silly!
