Ferguson/Anderson Slumber Party

You know our friends, Sallie and Garrett. The ones that just got married. They're back in town for their second reception on Saturday and they came to our house last night to have a slumber party!

We started off with ROSA'S ! I'm still so happy they built one closer to us & that my Mom gave us Rosa's gift cards for Christmas FTW! Of course we had to play a game [Killer Bunnies] & watched Easy A. Throw in some peanut blossoms & Sallie after 10pm [totally silly] and you get a really fun night.

[told you. here is an example of sallie after 10pm.]

[he was trying to jam that whole thing in his mouth. he almost got it...]

We all wore our silly jammies [except the party pooper ALLAN]. You guys have seen my glorious PJs. Here are Sallie&Garrett's.

[don't you want to be their friends?!]

Anyway, we woke up this morning to Allan making us omelettes [mmmm] and they headed off to do various reception things. Can't wait until next time! In the meantime we will have Wii dates.

I told Sallie I would put the Peanut Blossoms recipe on here because they said they were the "best peanut butter cookie they've ever had!" My mom made these cookies a lot growing up and they are one of my favorites. I've never met anyone who hasn't liked them yet...Here you go!

Peanut Blossoms:

1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 cup butter or margarine
1 cup creamy peanut butter
2 eggs
1/4 cup milk
2 tsp vanilla
3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2 tsp baking soda
2 6 1/2 ounce packages milk chocolate kisses

Cream first four ingredients. Beat in eggs, milk, and vanilla. Stir together flour, soda, and 1 tsp salt; stir into egg mixture. Shape into balls, roll in additional granulated sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 for 10-12 minutes. Immediately press a kiss into each cookie. Makes 7 dozen.
