HAPPY FRIDAY!

I can hardly believe it's already Friday. This week has gone by SO fast! That's what happens around the holidays though. You blink and it's Christmas! It's funny how that flip flops. When I was a kid it seemed like it took for-ev-er for Christmas to come around...now that my priorities have changed from solely gifts to enjoying everything about the holidays it seems to be slipping by me too quickly. Anyhow...we decided to have pizza night last night because tonight is the Ward Christmas Party [which it turns out we're probably not going to be able to go anyways because I have to get my hours in at work] but that just means we had a fun Thursday evening!

I wanted to be lazy and order pizza this week because I've been SO busy. I just wanted a week off from cooking and I've gotten just that :) Papa John's...we love you and your yummy pizza! We would love you a lot more if you would deliver the 10 minutes to Savannah.

We got their oh.my.gosh.so.yummy garlic parmesan breadsticks too.

Now to earlier that day. Holden and I had such a fun day. He was a terror on Monday [probably my fault but I had a hard time admitting that it might be because I ate chocolate - GASP! I know...I'm a bad mom. Once in like four months is not that bad...is what I keep telling myself. Any new readers: it makes him gassy. He's not allergic or anything] but he has been an absolute angel the rest of the week. I love being home with him. I really believe it's what I was meant to do - be a mom. If you would have asked me if I thought that's what I would do for the rest of my life 5 years ago I would have laughed in your face. My priorities have shifted to my beautiful family and I don't think they could be focused on a better thing!

[woo hoo! my feet are so fun!]

[don't take my book from me!]

[corn flake crispy treats]

Corn flake crispy treats are [as I'm sure you can guess] a twist on the traditional rice crispy treat. 2 T butter, one package of marshmallows, 6 cups corn flakes, 1/4 tsp cinnamon. So good! These are going to make an appearance at our annual Christmas Party next  week. I might like them a little more because they have a certain crunch about them.

[playing a little Mario Cart on Friday morning ain't so bad]

Sorry for the long post but I hope everyone has a great weekend! Sallie's bridal shower is tomorrow so look out for that post soon!
